Quad bikes.
These are motorised four wheeled bikes
with an engine capacity of 125cc. Two
people ride the bike alternating the driving.
70% of the riding is done off road on
good quality dirt tracks. A standard driving
licence is all that is required. Helmets
are worn at al times.
Mountain Bike.
This is essentially a downhill ride leaving
from a high point in the Sierra Nevada
National Park. The initial part of the
ride will be on tarmac and then the route
passes on to a good quality dirt track.
Obviously instruction will be given to
those who have no experience. As this
is a downhill route more concentration
than effort is required.
Kayak.
We use unsinkable 2 man kayaks. These
are ideal for novices being very stable.
Our instructors will give advice on how
to manage the craft and we will navigate
our way around the lake visiting coves
& beach along the way. The chances
of getting totally wet are minimal although
we do suggest that swim shorts etc. are
worn with a tee-shirt over the top. Lifejackets
are obligatory.
Abseil.
The abseil will be done from a part of
the lake accessible only by canoe. Abseiling
is very easy & very safe. Absolutely
no experience is required. Helmets &
harnesses are supplied by us. All belays
are done off fixed points. This is an
adrenaline filled activity for novices
with no risk involved.
